EMC has been in business since 1960
What is your primary product or service?
Repair of all rotating equipment. IE. Motors, pumps, gearboxes Repair and onsite testing of switchgear (circuit breakers, transformers, oil analysis) Onsite electrical & mechanical repairs (removals, installations, troubleshooting, vibration analysis, infrared scans, alignment) Sales of new motors, VFD's and associated equipment
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
EMC has been a family owned business since 1960
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a world class facility, along with an exceptional quality program and dedicated caring employees. Our company is ISO certified and audited.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At present we have 2 locations, our main campus is Chesapeake Virginia consists of our pump facility, our large and small motor facility, our nuclear services facility our switchgear facility and our controlled storage facility. We are currently in the process of expanding again at our main campus.

We are located in Cavalier Industrial Park right off Military Hwy. at 3703 Cook Blvd.

James Lee King is our CEO and Steven J. Newing is our President and oversees the daily operations

Our office hours are 7:30 - 4:30 Monday through Friday, we offer 24 Hr. around the clock emergency service
